Hi, I'm Angie,

I started this blog a very long time ago when I was really suffering with Fibromyalgia and it helped to focus my pain and my thoughts. But you know how it is, life gets in the way and I stopped.

I really missed it while I wasn't blogging, so I have resurrected it.

I was only actually diagnosed with fibromyalgia 3 years ago, although all examinations pointed towards it, gp's always mentioned it as a possibility and gave me advice on how to deal with it, I've tried all the medications advised for fibromyalgia and it was there in my notes but for some reason they were reluctant to diagnose it.

Going back on my life, I have had it for a very long time, probably since I was 15 and each traumatic experience made it that bit worse.

I am quite happy to share how I deal with it, how to stay positive, cope with the dark days, the extreme fatigue/pain days and even the good days.

I also knit, design, spin wool, felt, crochet on occasion.

I paint, mostly in watercolour and  ink, mostly hares and snails and flowers and bugs.

but I will have a go at anything.

I create notecards and printed paper, because I love the idea of keeping in touch the traditional way.

I have also taken on rather a large garden and hope to remould it a little, create a vegetable patch and do a bit of plant identification, as most of the flowers here are wild, that is, not cultivars.

Join me on a journey of knitting, painting, gardening and coping with this downright annoying disorder that no one seems to know a great deal about, apart from us, naturally.

Feel free to subscribe, follow either on instagram, facebook or reply to blog posts, it would be nice to 'meet' you.
